Hope everyone had a great three-day weekend!
Mike and I are throwing an intimate party in a few weeks, and I decided not to hire a caterer, but to prepare and make all of my food. I plan on serving canapes and hor d’oeuvres during meal hour instead of the traditional buffet and entree dishes. Few of my friends called me crazy and naively ambitious, but I figured if I plan this right, everything should turn out okay…right?! I must admit, I’ve found myself getting overwhelmed and anxious at the thought of feeding 30+ guests during dinner hour with only canapes and hor d’oeuvres. My boyfriend came across this incredibly useful site that certainly help put things in perspective and a great tool if you ever consider throwing a cocktail party.
